Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling

By booking a session with Niamh Moore Photography, you agree to the following refund policy.
1. Deposits & Booking Fees
All sessions require a non-refundable booking fee (retainer) to secure your date and time. This booking fee:

Reserves your date and time in my diary

Covers administrative time prior to the session including booking, contracts, communication, and shoot preparation

Is non-refundable under any circumstances

Is deducted from the total session cost

Your session is not confirmed until the booking fee has been paid and confirmation received in writing.
2. Cancellations by the client
If you need to cancel your session:

More than 7 days before:
Any payments made excluding the booking fee will be refunded to the account in which payment was made -
Less than 7 days before:
No refunds will be given. This is due to lost booking opportunities and preparation time

You are always welcome to transfer your session to someone else (with my approval). If you would prefer to reschedule, please refer to my rescheduling policy below, or further details are available in my Terms & Conditions.
3. Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule, please give at least 48 hours' notice.

One reschedule is permitted without penalty

Further reschedules may require a new booking fee

If you fail to attend your session or fail to provide enough notice, it will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be issued
4. Cancellations by me
In the unlikely event that I have to cancel your session (due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control), you will be offered:

The option to reschedule your session with no additional fees, or
-
A full refund including your booking fee
5. Weather-Dependent Sessions
For outdoor sessions, weather will be monitored closely.

If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, your session will be rescheduled

Refunds are not provided for weather-related issues, unless I am unable to provide a suitable alternative date
6. Digital Images & Products
Due to the nature of digital photography:

No refunds are available once images have been delivered

No refunds are given based on personal taste, style preference, or if a client decides they no longer want the images
7. Events & Extended Coverage
For events, parties, and longer bookings, separate cancellation terms may apply and will be outlined in your contract. Please see my events policy for further details.
