Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all photography services (exc. events – please see my events policy for all relevant Terms & Conditions) provided by Niamh Moore Photography to the client. By booking a session, you agree to the following terms.

1. Bookings & Deposits

A booking is only secured once a non-refundable booking fee (retainer) has been paid and you have received written confirmation from me.

The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before your session.

I reserve the right to cancel any session where payment has not been made in accordance with these terms.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please provide as much notice as possible.

If you reschedule with at least 48 hours notice, your booking fee may be transferred to a new date (subject to availability).
If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or fail to attend your session, the booking fee will be lost.

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control, you will be offered a new date or a full refund of any payments made, including your booking fee.

3. Session Conduct & Cooperation

Clients are responsible for ensuring all participants are ready and willing to be photographed.

I am not responsible for any children, adults, pets, or circumstances beyond my control (including weather, venue restrictions, or lateness).

Late arrival may reduce your shooting time.

4. Images, Editing & Delivery

I retain full creative control over the editing style and final images delivered.

You will receive your final edited images via a password protected online gallery within approximately 2-3 weeks of your session, unless otherwise stated.

Unedited/RAW images are not provided under any circumstances.

Image numbers stated in packages are minimums and are not a guarantee.

5. Prints & Image Quality

I take a great level of care to carefully and professionally edit and deliver images in high resolution, suitable for printing.

For best results, I strongly recommend using a professional print lab or printer I have recommended. Professional labs use calibrated equipment and high-quality papers that accurately reflect the colours, tones and sharpness of your images.

If you choose to print your images through a third-party or high-street retailer, I cannot guarantee the quality of the final product and am not responsible for any issues relating to colour, exposure, cropping, or print quality.

Refunds or re-edits will not be provided for issues caused by third-party printing services.

6. Copyright & Image Use

All images remain the copyright of Niamh Moore Photography

The client is granted a non-exclusive licence to download and use images for personal use (including printing and sharing on social media).

Images may not be altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

I reserve the right to use images for my portfolio, website, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes, unless you have requested otherwise in writing.

7. Client Use of Images

You may not apply heavy filters, edit, or crop images in anyway that misrepresents my work.

When sharing online, credit is always appreciated.

8. Liability

I take every reasonable care in the performance and quality of my services, but I cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond my control including (but not limited to) weather conditions, venue restrictions, equipment failure, or loss of images due to events such as fire, theft, or technical malfunction.

My liability is limited to the return of any payments received.

Clients are responsible for their own safety and the safety of any children, pets, and belongings.

9. Refusal of Service

I reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if clients or any other participants or event guests behave in a threatening, abusive, or unsafe manner. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

10. Pricing & Packages

Prices, packages, and offers are subject to change at any time. However, once your booking is confirmed, your price is confirmed and will remain the same.

11. Agreement

By booking a session with Niamh Moore Photography, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
